We’re excited to share that the 2026 Raleigh Peters Memorial Scholarship—part of the First Tee – The Lowcountry Secondary Education Scholarship Program—is now accepting applications! This meaningful scholarship helps local First Tee participants pursue their higher education dreams.
📌 What the Scholarship Offers:
The scholarship provides financial support to students who have participated in the First Tee – The Lowcountry program and are planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university. Recipients receive a renewable award—support that can help cover tuition, books, room and board, and other education-related expenses.
👩‍🎓 Who Can Apply:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a current or former First Tee – The Lowcountry participant who has completed Life Skills classes and embodies First Tee’s Nine Core Values.
- Be a high school senior graduating from Beaufort or Jasper County, or a current post-secondary student.
- Have been accepted to a 2- or 4-year degree program.
- Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA (or equivalent).
- Demonstrate community involvement, which can include mentoring younger First Tee participants.
