Job Posting: Administrative Assistant
Location: First Tee – Lowcountry, South Carolina
Job Type: Part-Time (developing to Full-Time, 20-40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Are you a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and a passion for supporting a mission-driven organization? First Tee – Lowcountry is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is critical to our operations, supporting the Executive Director, Program Director, and Development Specialist in fulfilling our mission to empower youth through character education and life skills development.
Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to ensure smooth operations of the organization. Core responsibilities include:
- Database Management:
- Enter and maintain accurate records in donor database (ELEO) and participant database (Salesforce).
- Generate reports and assist with database optimization.
- Communication:
- Prepare and edit various forms of correspondence, including memos, letters, and reports.
- Collaborate with staff, board members, and committees on projects and events.
- Social Media Management
- Administrative Tasks:
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage mail distribution.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and maintain organizational calendars.
- Create and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
- Event & Grant Support:
- Assist in planning and executing activities and events.
- Support grant applications and reporting processes.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Use tools such as Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and data analysis.
- Leverage strong writing and grammar skills for communication and documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the organization’s success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce and ELEO databases is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, board members, and volunteers.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
